Vestibular Rehabilitation

What is it?

Do you suffer from dizziness or vertigo? Do you experience motion sickness, or have balance issues? You may have a vestibular condition. The vestibular system is located in your inner ear, and it works with your visual system, and balance/position sensors throughout your body to help you move, balance and see clearly. When one or more of these systems are disrupted, dizziness and vertigo can occur. To treat this condition, your best bet is vestibular rehabilitation. This therapy takes a science-backed approach where individualized techniques are used to help the brain compensate for problems in the vestibular system. It uses maneuvers that are done to correct mechanical dysfunctions in the vestibular part of the inner ear.
