Massage Therapy

What is it?

Massage therapy is a hands-on technique used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body, specifically muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints to increase blood circulation, treat chronic and acute pain, and yes, improve mental health. The American Massage Therapy Association has affirmed that Massage Therapy can alleviate symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression.

Your first session.

Your massage will take place in our low-lit and relaxing massage room. It’s important to us that you feel as comfortable as possible, so you can decide how much to undress for your massage. Your Massage Therapist will leave the room while you undress and tuck in under a clean sheet and blanket on the massage bed.

Now you can lie back and relax while we take care of you!

You may notice after you session that you are sleepy and relaxed, or alternatively you may experience a surge of awareness and energy. Either way, be sure to drink plenty of water post-massage to help flush out toxins from your tissues that were released during the treatment.
