Aquatic Therapy/Hydrotherapy

What is it?

Aquatic therapy is physiotherapy in a pool or aquatic environment that uses water’s unique properties to foster healing and improve performance. Aquatic therapy utilizes buoyancy, drag, and hyrdro-static pressure while submerged in the water that- when combined with a skilled therapist and progressive treatment plan- can improve joint mobility, increase muscle strength, improve balance, and reduce pain.
