Physiotherapist | Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

PASSIONATE l EMPATHETIC l CURIOUS

Alexandra graduated from Queen’s University in 2011 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Throughout her career as a Physiotherapist, Alex has worked in private clinics and rehabilitation hospitals, working with several populations: from those with orthopaedic injuries to those who have experienced a stroke, brain injury or amputation.

Alex is a forever student, always looking for opportunities to learn and expand her knowledge to be better equipped to support her clients.

Alex understands the importance of taking a biopsychosocial approach when it comes to her clients, and approaching any concerns they may have. She has always been interested in women’s health, yoga, mindfulness and meditation, and how they can be integrated into her practice.

Her desire and passion to dive into women’s health grew exponentially when she was pregnant with her daughter. She sought out pelvic health physiotherapy and was able to experience, first hand, the powerful impact and value the profession has in helping those to navigate this incredible journey.

It would be her privilege to accompany, encourage and facilitate you on your own journey to feel strong (in all aspects of the word), confident, comfortable, empowered, and in control of your health.

Other things you may like to know about Alex: She lived and worked in Melbourne, Australia for four years! She has a 200 hour yoga certification + additional training in pre/postnatal yoga. She loves traveling, music, dogs, photography, baking, exercising, and most importantly, spending time with family.
